Seven Day Lover//CHARITY

Title: Seven Day Lover - James Fountain (painted specifically for charity auction)

Size: 70 x 50 x 2.5cm

Materials: Acrylic gouache, crackle medium on box canvas, strung and ready to hang. Protected with layers archival UV resistant  'antique' Matt Winsor and Newton acrylic varnish.

Description: Painting designed around the title Seven Day Lover, lots of patches on the nighter bags as some serious seducing going on, not quite sure who is seducing who though! Lots of detail in the patches, (taken about 36+ hours to complete), fabric textures and stitching...lovely old saddle shoes and circle skirt for her and for him, rolled up denim bags (we wouldn't want him tripping busting those moves) and Solatio Box Tops.

Patches are all Blackpool based, looking back to the past with the Blackpool Casino, The Mecca and the Highlands Room...but also all three patches (the first years was a logo on a teeshirt but I artistic licensed it) from the Dancing on the Carpet events...which look to the future for better understanding of cancer with the funding to research more.

More background information on this painting over on my Musings Blog.

Varnished and strung box canvas so all you'll need to do is bang a nail in the wall...job done, instantly cooler wall, only for the sexy people ;-) AND good karma to boot helping tackle this horrible disease...BUT only if you get your bum over to Blackpool, starts 2pmish on Sunday 28th May 2017, as this painting will be auctioned for Cancer Research UK at the fabulous event of Dancing on the Carpet, under the Tower on the Prom! See you sexiest of the sexy lot there xxx
